The Crocketteers are proud to announce our newest outreach into the San Antonio community! Continuing our mission to promote the sport of soccer in San Antonio, we are excited to finally be able to reveal our latest endeavor. The Crocketteers Soccer Supporters Group has been granted a two-mile stretch of road in the Adopt-a-Highway program!

The Crocketteers are always looking for new ways to become involved in the community.

The Adopt-a-Highway program of the Texas Department of Transportation gives us an opportunity to keep Texas beautiful.

The Adopt-a-Highway program began in Texas in 1985 and continues to grow, saving taxpayer’s money and keeping our rights-of-way clean. Following Texas’ lead, other states have created an Adopt-a-Highway program, and officials from Great Britain, Japan, and South Africa have visited Texas to learn more about starting programs of their own. This Texas-born program has spread to 49 states, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico. More than 1.3 million volunteers participate in Adopt-a-Highway nationwide.

You will be able to spot our signs on a portion of FM 2696 – Blanco Road – starting just past Bitters Rd heading north to just before Loop 1604.

Training will begin soon for interested Crocketteers members, Crocketteers Football Club players, and associated family, friends, and guests. If interested in joining a training session and participating in the Crocketteers outreach program, please comment here or send an email to [email protected]
