The Crocketteers are an independent soccer supporters group based in San Antonio, Texas. The group was founded in March of 2009 by Michael Macias.

By uniting soccer fans under one banner, the Crocketteers see an opportunity to put San Antonio on the radar of professional soccer leagues/ownership groups looking for the next great city to expand the beautiful game to. The idea behind the group is to grow a strong membership base in the name of San Antonio professional soccer. As membership numbers rise, the city of San Antonio will rise above the rest in contention for a soccer franchise.

Many Crocketteers¬†hopes were fulfilled¬†with the formation of the San Antonio Scorpions in October 2010. Our group has hosted tailgates, watch parties, and road trips for the Scorpions, United States Men’s National Team, the Texas Derby between MLS clubs FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo, and the 2010 World Cup.

The Crocketteers’ mission has always been – and will continue to be – to promote the sport of soccer in San Antonio and to bring and support a professional team.

Crocketteers Shield Main

The Crocketteers have built their brand to honor the heroes of the Battle of the Alamo. Their motto is simply “Victory or Death” as written by William B. Travis during their 13 days of glory defending San Antonio’s most important landmark, the Alamo.
